Synopsis
Mitsumi is a high school student in Tokyo from today. She moved to Tokyo from her hometown when she entered school. Although she can study well, she lacks experience in communicating with her peers due to her upbringing in an underpopulated area, and she is constantly bewildered by her unfamiliarity with high school life in the city. However, her straightforward and pure nature makes her classmates happy without her even realizing it.
Review
It is a very ordinary high school coming-of-age story with no special setting. The charm of this manga lies in the pure and honest character of Mitsumi. The way she naturally makes those around her happy makes the reader feel happy as well. Mitsumi has something that everyone gradually loses as they grow up and become more and more concerned about their surroundings: she still has it even in high school. Reading this work makes me think that it is not childishness or immaturity, but the preciousness of being a human being. Basically, this manga is suitable for everyone, but I recommend it especially to those who are tired of human relationships.
