Not fighting is harder than fighting.

Synopsis

Fabre is a legendary assassin who can kill any target within 6 seconds. One day, he is ordered by his boss to take a year off. Under the condition that he must not kill anyone, he and his partner begin living in the city of Osaka under a false name and identity. He begins an unfamiliar way of life in a new place and struggles to fit in with the general public.

Review

The manga features the strongest assassin, but he will not fight no matter what, in order to keep his boss’s order not to kill anyone for a year. It is tremendously professional. The characters are well-developed and humanistic. In particular, the main character, who has never lived a normal life before, has extremely poor general living skills, which adds a nice touch. Therefore, although there are many action scenes, there are also many comedic elements, and even the tense scenes do not become too serious. There are two contradictory elements of realistic life and graphic violence, which are harmonized with a strange sense of rhythm.
